Job Purpose

NYSE Texas is seeking a professional, service-oriented Receptionist to support a fast‑paced and growing office. This role serves as the first point of contact for employees, clients, and guests, delivering a seamless, professional, and hospitality‑driven front‑of‑house experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front of House & Guest Experience
    • Greet and assist all visitors, ensuring a positive experience.
    • Manage guest check‑in procedures and security protocols.
    • Coordinate with internal teams for guest arrivals and meetings.
    • Maintain reception area appearance and organization.
    • Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner.
  • Employee & Office Support
    • Support administrative tasks as needed across departments.
    • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Facilities, IT, Multimedia, and Events.
    • Support catering setup and basic event coordination.
    • Coordinate meeting room scheduling and readiness.
    • Assist with office supply tracking and light administrative tasks.
Knowledge and Experience
  • 3+ years of receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional demeanor and presentation.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Service‑oriented with a proactive, positive attitude.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to remain at front desk for extended periods.
  • Handle light lifting and office tasks as needed.
