About the Job
We are a nationwide process service company and currently seeking to hire an Office Assistant to work in our fast‑paced headquarters with full training. We are a process service company for civil litigation law firms and are looking for a full‑time employee.
Qualifications- The ideal candidate must be a fast learner, well‑organized, and a multi‑tasker who can assist in ensuring that the work environment operates properly, effectively, and efficiently.
- Responsibilities will include a variety of tasks: handling legal documents, scanning, printing, data entry, typing affidavits, and answering multi‑phone lines.
- Attention to detail and multi‑tasking orientation.
- Proficient in typing at least 40 words per minute with strong computer skills, knowledge of MS Word and Microsoft Office, and capability to operate industrial printing machines such as scanners, printers, and postal machines.
- Strong command of the company website.
- Enter new local jobs with lawsuit notes effectively and efficiently into the website.
- Enter attempts from local server jobs with notes into the website.
- Update served and wrong addresses with notes on the website.
- Operate and answer multi‑line phones professionally to provide status updates to clients and schedule local jobs.
- Type substitute service affidavits (106s) and affidavits of service.
- Email signed affidavits to clients.
- Fill out CMRRR service returns for signatures.
- E‑file service returns.
- Email returns of service and mail them out to out‑of‑area attorneys.
- Notarize service returns and affidavits (if a certified notary).
- Work well with others as part of a team.
- Bi‑lingual is a plus but not required.
- Health insurance.

- Paid vacation (after a year of employment).
