Description

Christ For The Nations is seeking an Executive Assistant who will provide comprehensive administrative and personal support to the offices of the Chancellor and the Executive Director of Legacy Events, serving as a prominent representative of leadership and the ministry’s mission both on and off campus. This position requires adherence to a high standard of Christ-like conduct, utmost confidentiality, and professional communication, in alignment with the organization’s vision and mission.

This position serves as the primary liaison between the organization’s leadership and the CFN Board of Directors. Additionally, this position includes up to a 40% allocation dedicated to serving as a personal assistant to the two Executives, requiring excellent time-management and the ability to balance dual-focused responsibilities.

Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and professional administrative experience.
  • Experience:

    Proven administrative support and general office management experience; ability to be highly organized and prioritize tasks according to departmental needs.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Expertise in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams/Sharepoint, Google Suite, online booking systems (airline, ride sharing, and hotel bookings), itinerary coordination, and general expense reconciliation.
  • Confidentiality:
    Highest level of discretion, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality regarding executive, personal, and Board-level matters.
  • Communication:
    Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively and efficiently with peers, organization leadership, external guests, and ministerial leaders.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide consistency, coordination, and administrative structure to the various activities which occur in the two offices represented, performing administrative duties for events and other tasks as may be necessary to facilitate the work.
  • Be professional, demonstrate behavior, etiquette, and apparel relevant to the group or individual with whom you relate, act in the best interest of the organization, and represent the organization and the Lindsays at special events or annual meetings as needed.
  • Manage office calendars and schedule appointments, meetings, and meals with committees and guests as requested.
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing telephone communication, personnel, and office communications.
  • Maintain daily executive communications by reviewing e-mail/mail and applying discretionary decisions to process, respond, re-direct, and alert of priority issues as designated.
  • Handle general office management including coordinating office access, coordinating facilities and custodial services, on-campus room reservations, etc.
  • Maintain appropriate budgets, account expense reconciliations, and personal finance requests.
  • Attend meetings with or on the behalf of the Chancellor and/or Executive Director of Legacy Events, keeping a record of projects, meetings, and relationships, with comprehensive details regarding follow-up and/or decisions needed.
  • Coordinate executive transport, property logistics, and specialized vendor services as requested.
  • Serve as administrator of classes taught by the Chancellor including communication with students, curriculum preparation, assignment grading, student attendance, and other administrative needs.
  • Manage the Chancellor’s book inventory in partnership with the Distribution Department.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, hotel rooms, and airline reservations as requested.
  • Correspond with the Board of Directors, ministerial leaders, and guests of CFN on behalf of both offices, and manage, facilitate, or edit any articles, letters, and official responses as requested.
