JOB SUMMARYUnder direction, coordinate the administration of educational programs for the department or unit including medical student education, graduate student education, internship training, residency training, and postdoctoral fellowship programs.

High School Diploma or GED - Experience
: 4 years related experience or Bachelor's degree in lieu of experience
- Assist the program lead with analyzing, coordinating, and evaluating program operation procedures, including goals, objectives, scheduling, and budgeting. Research trends and recommend strategies to promote continued growth or expansion.
- Work collaboratively with the program lead to ensure operations are effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded, and financial information is reliable. Monitor expenditures and make decisions on fund allocation.
- Act as a liaison for the program by answering inquiries, providing information, and addressing concerns. Develop, cultivate, and maintain relationships with internal and external departments, agencies, and partner organizations.
- Coordinate organizational details for educational programs and special events, such as seminars, teaching conferences, lecture series, orientation, recruitment events, etc. Prepare calendars, schedules, promotional announcements, arrange travel for speakers, coordinate banquets or meals for large groups, and manage registration and materials.
- Design promotional materials or contract with internal or external partners to develop communications.
- Provide administrative support for one or more of the above programs as applicable and provide relief for a variety of administrative duties that require thorough program knowledge.
- Identify, research, and select facilities necessary for the program. Schedule facilities as appropriate.
- Ensure the program is executed on or under budget by monitoring expenditures and allocating funds accordingly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
