The Administrative Assistant for Communications will provide administrative support to the Director of Communications, as well as the Communications Team and iCampus Online Ministry areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support the Director of Communications with planning, coordination, and implementation of assigned duties
Manage communications, scheduling, travel, meetings, and calendars for the Director of Communications Oversee special projects and events for the Communications Ministry as assigned
Manage credit card transactions, reconciliations, and financial reporting for various ministry areas
Maintain kitchen supplies for the departments
Coordinate quarterly volunteer luncheons for the Online Ministry Director Process purchase orders, check requests, and connect with accounting to ensure proper coding and payment clarification
Print documents for weekly executive and ministry staff meetings
Manage daily mail and order snacks for PTV Fulfillment Volunteers Collaborate with other church ministries and external entities
Must support relief of duties at the receptionist desk on a rotating basis for coverage
Perform additional tasks as assigned by Communications and PTV Ministry leadershipSPIRITUALFully committed to the Mission and Core Values of First Baptist Dallas Fully committed to the Senior Pastor, Executive Pastor, and overall church ministry

Embody the Green Team Characteristics and work according to Operating Principles Must possess effective communication skills and demonstrate strong attention to detail
Demonstrates a high proficiency in integrating, coordinating, communicating, and delegating work functions and responsibilities
Competent and proficient in Microsoft Office with an aptitude to learn Shelby (Accounting), eSpace (Facilities Management), and Aegis (CRM) software
Must have a minimum of 2 – 4 years of prior Administrative Assistant experience
Must have a High School diploma, preferably a bachelor’s degreePHYSICALMust have the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Must be able to sit for long periods
Some lifting and pushing heavy carts
Requires viewing a computer screen for extended periods
