For over 25 years, National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) has specialized in connecting experienced workers (ages 55+) with full-time and part-time job opportunities that support the critical missions of Federal Agencies across the United States.
NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). These experienced professionals provide administrative, scientific, and technical support to the Environmental Protection Agency through the Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program.

QualificationsMinimum of 10 year(s) of experience in Facility support services and contracting OR MA/MS Degree in General Studies
- Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook, Adobe, Fax, Copying Machine, Scanner
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook)
Serves as a primary point of contact for procurement, contracting, and administrative support within the Region 6 (R6) Operations Support and Security Section. Independently prepares and reviews procurement actions, advises staff on processes and requirements, and supports facility and property management functions across EPA locations in Dallas and Addison.
- Procurement and Contracting Support for MSD Branches (35%):
Prepares, reviews, and evaluates procurement packages for goods and services to ensure compliance with FAR and Agency regulations. Recommends prenegotiation objectives and procurement approaches that support cost‑effective, high-quality acquisitions for Region
6. Independently analyzes procurement documentation to identify risks, interpret policy, and provide guidance on appropriate actions. Prepares accurate and compliant solicitations, modifications, and contract awards using sound analytical judgment. 35% - Administrative Support for the Facility Programs (35%):
Serves as a key customer service contact for Operations Support and Security, independently handling functions such as issuing government keys, coordinating vendor access and escorts, and advising staff on service requests and routing. Supports Property Custodial and Accountable Officers by maintaining property records, inventory data, and processing excess actions. Ensures consistent administrative and facility support across EPA locations in Dallas and Addison.
35% - Administrative Support for Acquisitions (10%):
Applies strong interpersonal and analytical skills to collaborate with program offices, contractors, interagency officials, and other stakeholders. Provides evaluative input on acquisition strategies and supports effective communication and coordination across the acquisition lifecycle. 10% - Administrative Support for Reception:
Provide reception coverage, greet visitors, direct them, answer and route calls, maintain security procedures, and keep the reception area professional. 10% - Administrative Support for EMS:
Support with additional facility and administrative projects as needed, including updating electronic lobby kiosks and supporting program by collecting data and reviewing draft reports for various environmental management systems, EMS, documentation. 10%
