Summary ofEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring office facilities are functional and well-maintained. The Manager is expected to demonstrate initiative, set priorities, ensure timely and accurate completion of assignments, and oversee compliance by those in the workgroup with Firm and office policies and procedures, specifically: administer the security system; oversight of the maintenance and repair of office equipment; creation of the fire safety/AED programs;
management and oversight of the conference center and front desk receptionist; all purchasing for the Dallas office; creation and management of weekly key firm communications; assisting Office Administrator with facilitation of upcoming office move. The Manager is expected to maintain expertise in his/her areas of responsibility. The Manger is expected to perform all job duties with a commitment to providing superior service to lawyers and clients, producing quality work products, and maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Above all, the Manager must fulfill the needs of the office in a manner which is consistent with the Firm's visions and values.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years management experience, preferably in a Law Firm.
- Thorough knowledge of operation and maintenance procedures for professional office spaces and integrated security systems.
- Thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate Excel required.
- Thorough knowledge of the Firm’s Event Management System (EMS) and Visitor Management System.
- Strong leadership skills and willingness to function as a role model within the Office.
