Position Summary:
As a Parts Counter Salesperson
, you will assist customers and service technicians in locating and purchasing the correct automotive parts. Your role will be crucial in maintaining an efficient and well-stocked parts department while ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and selecting the correct vehicle parts.
  • Look up part numbers and availability in the inventory system.
  • Process parts sales transactions and provide accurate pricing and estimates.
  • Maintain an organized and well-stocked parts inventory.
  • Place orders for out-of-stock or special-order parts as needed.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments of parts, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Provide knowledgeable advice on parts compatibility and vehicle applications.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any parts-related concerns in a professional manner.
  • Work closely with the service and sales departments to fulfill internal parts needs.
  • Previous experience in the automotive parts department or retail parts sales preferred.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with inventory and point-of-sale software.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

    Ability to lift/move heavy parts when necessary.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment.
