General Function

Develop and manage ADO’s key vendor relationships. Partner with vendors to offer unique programs that offer greater member savings, vendor growth and additional house rebates for ADO.

Major Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with ADO’s key vendors, including product offerings, pricing, service models, marketing initiatives, and contractual terms in alignment with EL and ADO guidelines.
  • Negotiate, execute, organize, and track vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with approval requirements, documentation standards, and full contract lifecycle management (renewals, amendments, expirations).
  • Identify, develop, and launch new vendor programs and marketing campaigns that support mutual growth, member value, and measurable performance outcomes.
  • Lead the setup, execution, and ongoing management of vendor campaigns in partnership with vendors and internal sales teams to ensure adoption, effectiveness, and results.
  • Increase industry awareness of ADO by training vendor sales teams on ADO programs, value propositions, and member benefits.
  • Promote ADO’s ability to drive increased vendor purchases by supporting inside sales and marketing programs aligned to growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with vendors to create differentiated offerings that increase product and service adoption while delivering incremental value to ADO members.
  • Develop and maintain call tracking, sales activity, and performance reporting to communicate results, insights, and opportunities to vendor partners.
  • Support the development and execution of ADO’s rebate strategy, including maximizing rebate opportunities aligned with lead sales and marketing efforts.
  • Participate in rebate financial tracking to ensure accurate invoicing, timely collection, and compliance with contractual terms; provide final review and sign-off confirming rebate accuracy and collection.
  • Ensure consistent execution, accuracy, and accountability of rebate programs across the ADO team.
  • Represent ADO at local conventions, Walman Summit events, and national trade shows; weekend availability may be required.
  • Travel to vendor headquarters and industry events as needed to support partnership development and program execution.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA-protected information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of the Director of Member Relations.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills across all organizational levels and external partners
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills across cross-functional environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
