Event Assistant

Job Description

The Event Assistant will be responsible for activating and running all client promo events for the organization. The role oversees all aspects of promotional activity, demos, customer engagement, and internal and external events.

Salary range: $51,000 - $61,000 per year.

• Plan and execute the event within the host's budget.
• Promote products and services through face‑to‑face communication, demos, and follow‑up to create lasting impressions.
• Hold oneself accountable for measurable, high‑quality, and timely results.
• Perform general sales and marketing daily activities.
• Negotiate with vendors before the event.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Develop professionally by attending weekly sales meetings and sharing strategic ideas.

• Experience as an event manager/planner is a plus.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
• Project a professional demeanor and use tact when dealing with others.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills across face‑to‑face, email, and phone, with ability to build relationships.
• Attention to detail and ability to focus under pressure.
• Creativity and innovation mindset.
