Lots of Fun: A dynamic environment driven by teamwork and the Unlimited Power of Play About the Role The Garnishment Manager is responsible for the end-to-end administration of employee wage garnishments, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality. This role serves as a key liaison between internal teams, external agencies, and third-party vendors, providing subject matter expertise and driving operational excellence in garnishment processing.
Key Responsibilities Garnishment Processing & Compliance Oversee the accurate processing of all wage garnishments, including tax levies, child support, bankruptcies, student loans, and writs
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations
Interpret and administer complex garnishment orders and legal documentation
Prepare and submit timely responses to garnishment notices and court orders
Vendor & Stakeholder Management Manage and support third-party wage attachment vendor relationships
Partner with Legal, HR, registered agents, and government agencies to ensure compliance and issue resolution
Reporting, Recordkeeping & Audit Support Maintain accurate and compliant records of all garnishment activity
Prepare reports and documentation to support audits and regulatory requirements
Inquiry Resolution & Case Management Respond to inquiries from employees, courts, attorneys, and creditors
Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Subject Matter Expertise & Process Improvement Serve as the internal expert on garnishment processes and compliance requirements
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
What You Bring5+ years of experience in payroll, garnishments, or compliance-related roles
Strong knowledge of federal and state wage garnishment laws and regulations
Experience working with third-party payroll or garnishment vendors
Familiarity with Workday or similar HR/payroll systems preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills
