Qualifications

Four years of office/business experience and two years of contract/procurement experience. Or Bachelor's degree to include business management and two years of office/business and contract/procurement experience. Associate must complete all required training and be otherwise fully qualified to obtain contracting officer authority certification within 18 months of selection.

Duties
  • Under general supervision, develop, prepare, and administer moderately complex contracts, bids, and proposals.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and execute tactical sourcing activities.
  • Confirm necessary procedural controls exist. Identify any potential risk or compliance issues.
  • Ensure all contract documentation is compliant with organizational and regulatory standards. Prepare reports as needed.
  • Manage vendor relationship, monitoring vendor performance to include compliance, quality, and service. Resolve associated issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with business units, suppliers, and key stakeholders. Act as business advisor to internal customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
