Join our dynamic People Consulting team as an Organization Design Senior, where you will play a pivotal role in optimizing workforce, talent, and mobility strategies. You will be instrumental in future‑proofing our operations through the design, development, and influence on operating models and continuous change. As a trusted advisor, you will develop and implement workforce strategies that align with business and functional strategy to meet business objectives.
Your expertise will be crucial in understanding workforce requirements to design organizations at the operating model and organization design level to achieve strategic intent.
Our approach to organizational design helps guide our clients from assessment through to implementation. You’ll lead large‑scale organizational design projects and advise stakeholders while building relationships with colleagues and clients. You’ll also work collaboratively to deliver innovative and insightful solutions for a range of challenges, from how to best structure teams to deliver on the organization’s strategy to how the organization’s structure can allow for more agile ways of working.

- You’ll be expected to support and lead certain engagement activities from planning through to implementation, including identifying and helping manage any potential issues and risks during a client assignment.
- Understanding of using organizational design, strategic workforce planning as integral components of transformational initiatives focused on accelerating business performance.
- Understanding of human resources opportunities, challenges and issues in at least one of the sectors we serve (e.g., Oil & Gas, Health, Telecommunications, Power & Utilities, Insurance, Media & Entertainment).
- Demonstrate technical competence in our key capabilities and take a practical/business‑driven approach to solving complex client challenges.
- Contribute to the growth of the People Consulting practice by identifying additional engagement opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients.
- Influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for any major change initiatives and/or decisions.
- Encourage and facilitate collaboration amongst team members, and promote an inclusive working environment.
- Contribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations for potential clients.
- Advance the People Consulting practice by supporting in the development of thought leadership and EY methodologies.
- Relevant experience through one of the following:
Professional services role with a global management consultancy firm or niche consultancy, internal human resources or organizational design role in industry or related line role in industry, in which you gained exposure to a large‑scale project(s). - Between 4‑6 years of prior experience in Operating Model Development, Organizational Structure and Design, Strategic Workforce Planning, Capability Mapping, Organizational Assessment, and Organizational Governance, with success in current job applying one or more of these capabilities.
- Experience of delivering org. design projects in one or more of the following functional domains – supply chain, IT, finance, customer, sales & marketing.
- Working knowledge of digital assets in the organization design space and use of analytical tools.
- Have a primary degree and relevant post‑graduate qualification.
- Willingness to travel as needed, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment with an average of three (3) days per week at a client site or within an EY office.
