Director Strategic Operations

We are partnering with a global, multi-site technology and electronics manufacturing group undergoing significant international growth and rapidly emerging as a leader within its sector.

As part of this expansion, we are seeking a commercially minded Director of Strategic Operations
. This is a high-impact leadership role partnering closely with executive leadership to drive operational excellence, cost optimisation, business transformation, and long-term growth across the organisation.

• Lead enterprise-wide cost optimisation and identify strategic savings opportunities.
• Drive cross-functional transformation initiatives across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, IT, and other business functions.
• Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and financial models to support strategic investment decisions.
• Lead workforce planning, organisational design, and resource optimisation.
• Oversee strategic real estate initiatives and capital projects.
• Deliver executive dashboards, reporting, and performance insights that enable data-driven decision-making.
• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team while driving accountability and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years' experience in Strategic Operations, Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting, Operational Finance, or a similar environment.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering measurable business results.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling, and executive communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, electronics, aerospace, or another complex industrial environment is advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience using ERP systems and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
