The Compliance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the organization's compliance program to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. This role supervises compliance staff, monitors regulatory changes, conducts audits, investigates compliance issues, and promotes a culture of ethical business practices.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and support the daily activities of the compliance team.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct internal compliance audits and risk assessments.
- Investigate potential compliance violations and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates to relevant departments.
- Prepare compliance reports for senior management and regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate compliance training programs for employees.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address compliance risks and improve controls.
- Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation.
- Assist during external audits and regulatory inspections.
- 3–5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, auditing, or a related field.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software.
