SUMMARY

My client is seeking a high-energy, ambitious Sr. Project / Client Development Manager to join their growing team in Dallas / Fort Worth. This role is ideal for someone who has built a strong foundation in the live events industry and is ready to take ownership of their corporate events division
. You will manage projects from initial client engagement through execution, overseeing logistics, labor, equipment, budgets, schedules, and customer relationships. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex operational challenges, and is motivated by growth and advancement opportunities. This is not a desk-only position. They are looking for someone willing to roll up their sleeves, visit job sites, lead crews, solve problems in real time, and help build a market by expanding and growing their client base.

A Strong knowledge of decking (staging), chairs, tables, pipe & drape, stage barricades, bike rack barricades, and ground cover/flooring is required.

Key Responsibilities Project Management
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously from planning through completion
  • Develop project schedules, logistics plans, labor plans, and site execution strategies
  • Coordinate transportation, equipment, inventory, and staffing requirements.
  • Manage project budgets, change orders, and profitability targets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Grow existing client base as well as qualify and close all incoming sales calls
Event Operations
  • Oversee onsite installations and removals.
  • Conduct site visits and pre-event planning meetings.
  • Manage subcontractors, labor providers, and internal crews.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement solutions quickly.
Client Management & Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with event organizers, venues, production companies, and corporate clients.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and revenue growth with existing clients
  • Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after events.
  • Help establish and reinforce operational standards and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, and teamwork.
Qualifications Required
  • 5+ years of project management experience in corporate live events, sports and entertainment events, and temporary event infrastructure
  • Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, logistics, and field operations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working nights, weekends, and travel as required by event schedules.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Experience in CAD or Vector Works for drawings.
  • Experience building network / pipeline – and managing it

  • Experience with rental equipment operations.
  • Knowledge of trucking, freight, and logistics coordination.
  • Experience leading installation crews and field teams.
