We are seeking an RFP Specialist to support the end-to-end development, editing, and customization of high-quality responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and consultant database updates. This role requires strong writing, project management, and organizational skills, along with the ability to communicate complex investment concepts clearly to institutional clients and consultants. The successful candidate will collaborate across multiple business functions to ensure client-facing materials are accurate, compliant, consistent, and tailored to client requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesProposal Development & Customization
- Draft, edit, and customize RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and consultant questionnaires.
- Tailor responses to client requirements while maintaining consistency and messaging standards.
- Develop compelling, client-focused proposal content across multiple investment products and asset classes.
Content Management
- Maintain and update a centralized content library.
- Ensure proposal content remains accurate, compliant, and current.
- Identify content gaps and coordinate updates with subject matter experts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Portfolio Managers, Product Strategists, Sales, Client Relationship Managers, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Marketing.
- Gather and validate information required for proposal development.
- Coordinate stakeholder reviews and approvals.
Project Management
- Manage multiple proposal projects simultaneously while meeting aggressive deadlines.
- Develop timelines, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality submissions.
- Coordinate deliverables across multiple internal teams.
Communication & Messaging
- Translate complex financial and investment concepts into concise, persuasive client-facing language.
- Develop proposal narratives that clearly communicate investment capabilities and competitive advantages.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Review proposal content for accuracy, consistency, grammar, formatting, and completeness.
- Ensure all materials comply with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience within financial services.
- Experience in asset management, investment consulting, institutional sales support, proposal writing, or similar client-facing content roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong editing and proofreading abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience using RFP automation software such as:
