As an integral part of operations, we support the firm's businesses and other operational groups to design and execute controls over processes, data and infrastructure for exchange, trade and transaction, position monitoring, post settlement reconciliation and reporting, across the trading businesses and syndicate operations.

We are responsible for ensuring that the firm is compliant with applicable laws and regulations and reporting accuracy for new and existing business flows as well as implementing quality controls over data supporting these functions.

Our primary driver is to enhance the operations client experience in a risk and control oriented environment.

Fixed Income Securities supports the Fixed Income institutional desks with trade booking, confirmation, pre-matching and fails management. The team is also responsible for exception detection, research, resolution and escalation of position & cash differences in client, broker and inter-company accounts.

We are looking for a tech minded individual preferably with operations/middle office experience to focus purely on BI/AI within the wider fixed income middle office team.

The role will primarily look to enhance and improve automation, reporting and data analysis across Fixed Income business lines, which tie back to our operational goals and path forward in efficiency gains.

• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work with a wide range of stakeholders primarily across Operations and Engineering, demonstrating both verbal and written communication skills
  • Drive conversations with senior stakeholders to clearly articulate needs of the business, identify root cause issues, and influence the problem solving process
  • Leverage partnerships to ensure low code is provisioned in the context of the firm’s wider technology architecture strategy
  • Advise on evolving solution applications while keeping a view of full low code toolkit through solution design forums
• Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Develop automated solutions which connect upstream data sources to end user platforms
  • Utilize any available established APIs and nurture our partnership with Engineering to create new APIs where required
  • Provide end users with data analytics and risk reporting, giving AWM stakeholders the opportunity to make data driven decisions
• Workflow Automation
  • Identify manual processes which are inefficient and prone to errors, focusing on risk mitigation and resource capacity
• Business Unit Management
  • Drive conversations and lead the business intelligence programs for a variety of stakeholders, each with their own unique datasets and business needs
  • Coach and mentor business unit embedded specialists, ensuring that embedded specialists are meeting the strict governance standards
  • Contribute to ever changing Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence risk and governance framework
