The RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of critical infrastructure projects. Working closely with our project managers, you will help drive planning, coordination and monitoring across active projects. This is a long‑term opportunity to grow with an expanding company and take on increasing responsibility over time.
This position supports work at project sites and assignments may require travel to and residence near a project location for both short and long‑term periods, as project needs dictate. A per diem covering food and lodging is provided for site assignments; specifics are discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities- Work directly with project managers to plan and implement project goals
- Coordinate and assign tasks to project staff as needed
- Track and report on project progress against schedule and milestones
- Review project execution and gather data to support decision‑making
- Support day‑to‑day coordination between the office and project sites
- Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager or in a similar role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Willingness and ability to travel to and stay at project sites for varying periods
- Experience supporting infrastructure or construction projects is a plus
