Our client is a leading heavy civil contractor delivering high‑profile infrastructure projects across the Dallas–Fort Worth region. Their work includes highways, roadways, utilities, drainage, earthwork, structures, and other core civil infrastructure.

Position Overview

The Heavy Civil Foreman will lead field crews and support daily onsite operations to ensure safe, productive, and high‑quality execution of heavy civil construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate multiple activities in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct field crews on heavy civil projects, ensuring safety, productivity, and workmanship quality.
  • Coordinate daily work plans, equipment needs, materials, and manpower.
  • Interpret plans, specs, and project documents to ensure accurate field execution.
  • Monitor progress, track production quantities, and report daily activities.
  • Work closely with Superintendents, Project Engineers, and subcontractors to maintain schedule and resolve onsite challenges.
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with layout, grading, utilities, concrete, or structural tasks depending on project scope.
  • Support onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of field personnel.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction (roadway, utilities, drainage, earthwork, or similar).
  • Previous experience as a Foreman or Leadman on civil infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction plans, grades, and specifications.
  • Ability to lead crews, plan work, and maintain a safe jobsite.
  • Solid communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
Compensation
  • Base salary: $95,000 – $110,000
    , depending on experience.
