We are seeking an experienced K–12 Construction Superintendent to lead on‑site operations for ground‑up and renovation school projects. This role is responsible for managing daily field activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, along with proven experience in K–12 or commercial construction.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all on‑site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors to maintain schedule and quality
- Enforce safety programs and ensure compliance with all OSHA and site‑specific requirements
- Develop and maintain detailed short‑term and long‑term look‑ahead schedules
- Lead daily huddles and weekly coordination meetings
- Monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and local codes
- Track manpower, productivity, and material deliveries
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively to protect schedule and budget
- Maintain accurate daily reports, site logs, and progress photos
- Partner closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and inspectors to ensure smooth execution
- Support commissioning, punch list completion, and final turnover
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience in K–12, commercial, or institutional construction
- Proven success delivering projects on schedule and within budget
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency with scheduling tools and basic construction software preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Base salary up to $125,000 (depending on experience)
