Preconstruction Manager

The Preconstruction Manager will lead estimating and preconstruction efforts from conceptual budgeting through GMP and final proposal. This role works closely with ownership, operations, architects, and trade partners to ensure accurate pricing, constructability, and risk mitigation.

• Lead preconstruction efforts for multiple commercial projects
• Develop conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates
• Prepare GMPs, hard bids, and value-engineering options
• Coordinate subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and scope reviews
• Participate in client meetings and presentations
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth handoff to construction
• Analyze drawings, specs, schedules, and site constraints
• Support continuous improvement of preconstruction processes

• 3+ years of commercial construction experience
• Strong background in estimating and preconstruction leadership
• Experience with negotiated work, CMAR, and design-build delivery
• Proficiency with estimating software and takeoff tools
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Experience in markets such as data centers, corporate office, education, healthcare, industrial, or municipal is a plus
