- Track project costs throughout construction, updating estimates as scope changes occur.
- Partner with site supervisors and project managers to align budgets with field execution.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities through value engineering and alternative material analysis.
- Assist with scheduling coordination, permitting processes, and adherence to Dallas municipal building requirements.
- Maintain thorough documentation of contracts, cost breakdowns, revisions, and financial reports.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in construction estimating or construction engineering.
- Demonstrated background in single‑family residential ground‑up builds and remodeling projects.
- Experience using industry‑standard software such as Buildertrend, Procore, Plan Swift, Bluebeam, or similar estimating platforms.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and compliance standards.
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural plans with accuracy.
- Excellent analytical thinking and financial tracking skills.
- Clear communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in an active Dallas, TX construction market.
