$85,000 – $120,000 base salary aligned with experience, plus bonuses, full benefits, and long-term progression opportunities
Blayze Group is partnering with a growing commercial general contractor to appoint an Estimator to support a strong pipeline of commercial construction projects across the Dallas market.
This opportunity is suited to Estimators with 3–4 years of experience who are looking to develop within a highly active contractor environment. The company is open to candidates from multiple construction backgrounds including commercial general contracting, structural concrete, civil, and data center construction.
The Role- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and pricing for commercial construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to support accurate project costing
- Work alongside senior estimators, operations teams, and project management throughout preconstruction
- Develop subcontractor and supplier pricing across multiple trades
- Analyze civil documents, structural drawings, concrete scopes, and foundation packages
- Support budgeting, conceptual estimating, GMP development, and bid submissions
- Coordinate scope reviews and identify value engineering opportunities where appropriate
- Assist with bid leveling, subcontractor comparisons, and procurement support
- Utilize estimating software including Sage, or similar platforms where applicable
- Contribute to projects across sectors including commercial, industrial, and mission critical construction
- 3–4 years of estimating experience within construction
- Open to candidates from commercial GC, concrete, civil, structural, or data center backgrounds
- Understanding of civil documents, structural concrete, foundations, and building structure is highly desirable
- Experience with Sage estimating software is favorable, but not essential
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications confidently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative preconstruction team
- Stable career history with reputable contractors preferred
- Motivated individual looking to grow long-term within a commercial contractor environment
