Senior Estimator

One of the nation's most respected commercial concrete subcontractors is looking for a skilled Concrete Estimator with tilt-up experience to join our growing DFW team. • Own the full estimating process from initial takeoff through bid submission and award
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs on tilt-up panel systems, CIP structural concrete, flatwork, and site concrete using OST and Bluebeam
• Develop accurate and competitive labor, material, equipment, and overhead cost models
• Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Prepare and present complete bid proposals to GCs, developers, and owners
• Identify and pursue new opportunities in the DFW market - build and maintain relationships with GCs, developers, architects, and structural engineers
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site walks, and GC interviews as required
• Partner with operations on scope handoffs, value engineering, and constructability reviews
• Assist with change order pricing and preconstruction scope development
• Maintain organized bid files, estimate logs, and bid follow-up tracking

• 5+ years of concrete estimating experience with a concrete subcontractor - tilt-up experience required
• Strong proficiency in OST (On-Screen Takeoff) and Bluebeam - required
• Solid hands-on understanding of tilt-up panel systems including panel layout, embed coordination, pour sequence, and erection
• Working knowledge of CIP structural concrete, foundations, and flatwork scopes
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings with accuracy
• Detail-oriented with strong math, analytical, and organizational skills
• Track record of pricing and winning concrete subcontract work in a competitive market
• DFW market knowledge and existing GC relationships strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Office 365
• Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred - equivalent experience considered
