A premier luxury residential construction firm is seeking a Superintendent / Assistant Project Manager to support the execution of high-end custom home projects from preconstruction through final completion. The Superintendent / Assistant Project Manager will assist in coordinating field operations, project schedules, subcontractors, and client communication while ensuring projects maintain the highest standards of quality and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing high-end custom home projects from construction start through completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and daily field activities
- Support project scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking efforts
- Conduct site walkthroughs to monitor quality, workmanship, and project progress
- Assist with procurement and coordination of materials, finishes, and specialty selections
- Maintain communication with homeowners, architects, designers, and project teams
- Help manage project documentation including RFIs, change orders, and submittals
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, project specifications, and construction timelines
- Support project meetings and provide regular updates to leadership and clients
- Assist with punch list completion and final project turnover
- 2+ years of residential construction experience preferred
- Experience with custom home, luxury residential, or high-end remodeling projects strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and construction documents
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced construction environment
- Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools preferred
- Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required
