Texas Built Construction is a growing commercial general contractor specializing in retail, restaurant, office, medical, industrial, and ground-up construction projects throughout Texas. We are seeking a motivated Site Superintendent who is looking to build a long-term career in commercial construction management.
This role is ideal for a trade foreman or construction professional who is ready to transition into the general contracting side of the industry and take ownership of project execution in the field.
Position SummaryThe Site Superintendent is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of construction projects, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring work is completed according to plans and specifications.
The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), can read construction drawings, communicates effectively with subcontractors, and is eager to grow into a lead superintendent role.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily field operations on commercial construction projects.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with project plans and quality standards.
- Maintain project schedules and identify potential delays before they impact progress.
- Conduct daily site walks and document project progress.
- Coordinate inspections and assist with permit compliance
- Enforce company safety standards and OSHA requirements.
- Communicate project updates to project managers, clients, and company leadership.
- Manage site logistics, deliveries, material storage, and workforce coordination.

Minimum 2 years of construction experience. - Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience leading crews, subcontractors, or field personnel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Working knowledge of construction means and methods.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field.
- Experience as a foreman, lead carpenter, lead electrician, lead plumber, concrete foreman, framing foreman, or assistant superintendent.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with Buildertrend, Procore, or similar construction management software.
- Ability to walk active construction sites daily.
- Ability to climb ladders, navigate uneven terrain, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
