Chief Estimator

A well-established Commercial General Contractor in the DFW area is seeking an experienced Chief Estimator to lead its preconstruction and estimating function.

• Lead and manage the estimating department throughout all phases of preconstruction.
• Prepare and review detailed conceptual, budgetary, and hard-bid estimates.
• Oversee bid solicitation, subcontractor pricing, and proposal submissions.
• Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and internal project teams during preconstruction.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify risks and opportunities.
• Mentor and develop estimating staff while implementing best practices and procedures.
• Support business development efforts and participate in client presentations.

• Minimum 8 years of estimating experience with a Commercial General Contractor.
• Strong background across sectors including: K-12 Education;
  Public Sector;
  Office Buildings
• Ability to lead estimates from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricing.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
