We are actively hiring a motivated Construction Estimating Engineer to join a growing team in Dallas. This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands-on exposure to commercial construction projects and the full estimating lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications
- Support bid preparation, subcontractor outreach, and scope leveling
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Work closely with senior estimators and project managers
- Help develop budgets, schedules, and cost projections
- Maintain organized documentation of estimates and bid packages
- Track pricing trends and support value engineering efforts
- 1-3 years of experience in construction estimating or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar preferred
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in estimating software and Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
