In this role, you will play a key part in the construction of asphalt pavement for highway projects, operating specialized equipment and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and safety.

- Set up and operate asphalt paving equipment to ensure smooth, consistent, and properly aligned pavement laydown.
- Perform light mechanical adjustments and assist with minor repairs on assigned equipment as needed.
- Check all fluid levels at the start of each day, monitor gauges and equipment operation throughout the shift, and clean the paver at the end of the day.
- Track and record the amount of asphalt being laid during operations.
- Adhere to all safety practices and company procedures at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the paving crew and project goals.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with asphalt on paving crews and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work days, nights, or weekends as required by project schedules.
- Ability to work in extreme heat or cold weather conditions.
- Maintain a strong safety record, positive behavior, and reliable attendance.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working outdoors in extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
- Capable of climbing on and off heavy equipment safely.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, boots.
- Traveling within Oklahoma and North Texas is required. Per diem will be provided for jobs outside the hired working area.
