Concrete Restoration Crew Leader And Laborer Positions
Southwest Construction Services is looking for motivated and skilled Crew Leaders and Laborers to join our Concrete Restoration team. These roles involve performing and overseeing tasks related to restoring and maintaining concrete structures, ensuring quality workmanship and adhering to safety protocols. Crew leaders will take charge of project teams, while Laborers will assist in completing the restoration tasks under supervision.
Key Responsibilities & ExperienceRequired:
- Crew Leaders
- 2 years industry experience with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory level
- lead and supervise a team of laborers and skilled workers on concrete restoration projects
- plan and delegate daily tasks, ensuring efficient use of time and resources
- monitor work progress and ensure safety protocols at job sites
- collaborate with Project Managers/Superintendents to review project plans and timelines
- troubleshoot challenges on-site and provide solutions to maintain workflow
- maintain detailed reports of project progress, materials, and labor hours
- Laborers
- no experience required – will train
- assist in preparing job sites, including setting up safety barriers and equipment
- perform manual labor tasks such as mixing, transporting, and applying concrete and sealants
- operate basic tools and equipment for cutting, patching, and finishing concrete surfaces
- remove damaged materials and prepare surfaces for restoration
- clean up job sites and maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- follow directions from Crew Leaders and ensure tasks are completed on time
- Experience in Structural Concrete, Masonry, Cast Sone, and Natural Stone desirable
- Additional experience in the Restoration of Historic Buildings & Structures is also desirable
- Must have knowledge in the operation and safety requirements for the use of Aerial Equipment and Scaffolding Equipment
- Strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- A mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift 100 lbs
- Capability to work in varied climate conditions
- Available to work varied hours as needed to meet our customers' demands
