We’re hiring a Preconstruction Manager to lead complex water infrastructure pursuits with one of the region’s most respected heavy civil contractors. Based in North Dallas, you’ll be at the forefront of winning and launching some of Texas’ most vital utility and infrastructure projects.

- Lead the preconstruction phase for collaborative delivery (CMAR, design-build) water infrastructure projects
- Coordinate with estimators, PMs, and proposal teams to craft winning strategies and accurate GMPs
- Analyze project risks, logistics, schedules, and bid documents to optimize pricing and performance
- Prepare and review proposals that are sharp, strategic, and competitively positioned
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, engineers, and owners
- Respond to RFPs, lead proposal submissions, and prepare pitch teams for client presentations
- Support project turnover, team debriefs, and early-stage project execution
- Represent the business at industry events, expanding your influence and network across Texas
- 6–8+ years of preconstruction or estimating experience (or 5 years with relevant degree)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- Hands‑on experience with estimating, scheduling, and collaborative delivery methods
- Familiarity with tools like HCSS, Primavera, CMiC, Excel, and Word
- Strong communication and proposal writing skills
- Market awareness and a network of contacts in the regional construction space
- Excellent organization, problem‑solving, and client‑facing presentation abilities
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project‑specific engagements
