Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Traveling Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site leadership and supervision to project teams.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
  • Keep accurate records of daily activities, including progress reports and photos.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and engineers.
  • Provide technical expertise and problem-solving skills as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial construction processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
  • Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites nationwide.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
