Project Manager - Heavy Civil

Ready to run big, complicated, high visibility heavy civil projects and actually get to lead the people doing them? This is a Senior Project Manager role for someone who wants ownership over $25M+ projects from bid to closeout, not just a seat at the table.

What you'll be doing:

Leading assigned projects with full accountability for safety, schedule, quality, and profitability

Reviewing and approving estimates, proposals, budgets, schedules, and contract documents
li>

Acting as the main point of contact for clients and building relationships that lead to repeat business
li>

Mentoring Project Managers, Engineers, and field staff
li>

Managing subcontractor and vendor performance
li>

Owning project risk management, cost controls, and forecasting
li>

Making sure everything stays compliant with company standards, contracts, and safety regulations
li>

Working with leadership and estimating on new business pursuits
li>

Representing the company at client meetings and industry events

What you bring:

li>

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
li>7 to 10+ years of progressive project management experience in heavy civil, underground utilities, or site development
li>

A track record managing large scale projects, $25M+
li>

Real leadership experience, not just a title, you've mentored and grown teams
li>

A history of clients wanting to work with you again
li>

Strong communication and problem solving skills, especially under pressure
li>

Comfort with MS Office, Bluebeam, and PM/estimating software like HCSS Heavy Bid
li>

Flexibility to travel and work across different project locations as needed
