Director of Preconstruction

We are a well-established general contractor based in Dallas, delivering high-quality construction projects throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Our portfolio is focused primarily on retail, commercial, and education developments, and we have built our reputation on strong client relationships, collaborative project delivery, and consistent execution.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Director to lead our estimating and pre-construction operations and play a key role in securing and delivering successful projects.

The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven background in retail, commercial, and K-12 or higher education construction projects.

• Lead all pre-construction activities for multiple projects simultaneously
• Manage and mentor the estimating and pre-construction team
• Prepare conceptual and detailed cost estimates and project budgets
• Develop value engineering solutions that maximize client value without compromising quality
• Review drawings and specifications to identify opportunities and potential risks
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and owners throughout the design process

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction, including significant pre-construction leadership
• Proven experience delivering retail, commercial, and educational construction projects
