Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Lead Scheduler, Pre-Construction (Data Centers)

Who You Are

We’re seeking a Lead Scheduler for our Data Centers team. The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented scheduling professional with 10+ years of experience building and managing construction schedules for large‑scale, mission‑critical facilities. You must be fluent in Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, own schedule development from the earliest planning stages through GC/trade contractor mobilization, translate design progress, procurement lead times, and permitting timelines into a defensible baseline schedule, and defend that schedule in front of leadership, general contractors, and design teams.

What

You'll Do
  • Own the development of pre‑construction schedules for new data‑center builds, integrating design milestones, permitting and entitlement timelines, procurement lead times, and early works packages.
  • Develop Tier 1 (executive‑level) milestone schedules that communicate key contractual dates and major phases to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Build Tier 2 (summary‑level) schedules that break the project into major work areas, bridging Tier 1 milestones and detailed Tier 3 execution schedules.
  • Establish this tiered schedule structure early in the Project Delivery Method (PDM) process to guide the project from conception through execution.
  • Build and maintain baseline schedules in Primavera P6 (or equivalent CPM software), ensuring logic, durations, and constraints reflect real‑world buildability and site conditions.
  • Lead schedule risk analysis during pre‑construction, identify critical path drivers, schedule float erosion, and sequencing conflicts before contracts are awarded.
  • Apply Theory of Constraints principles to identify and manage primary and secondary critical paths as constraints shift.
  • Coordinate long‑lead procurement tracking and integrate delivery milestones into the master schedule.
  • Facilitate schedule review sessions with Data Center leadership and project stakeholders.
  • Support the transition from pre‑construction to construction with validated baseline schedule hand‑off.
  • Develop and maintain schedule dashboards, look‑ahead, and reporting to communicate pre‑construction progress and readiness.
  • Track entitlement, permitting, utility interconnection, and site development milestones that impact the overall program timeline.
  • Identify schedule risks and dependencies across design, procurement, permitting, and early site work, escalating proactively and driving resolution.
  • Contribute to standardizing scheduling templates, schedule health metrics, and pre‑construction planning best practices across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Cost/Project Controls teams to keep schedule and budget aligned throughout pre‑construction.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of scheduling experience supporting large‑scale, mission‑critical, or hyperscale construction programs.
  • Strong subject‑matter expertise in Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling techniques.
  • Field construction experience with strong understanding of site operations, construction sequencing, trade coordination, and practical execution.
  • Strong understanding of data center or mission‑critical sequencing, including long‑lead equipment procurement and utility/permitting dependencies.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience managing an owner’s planning and scheduling program across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, presenting schedule risk and status to technical teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a detail‑oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with resource‑loaded schedules, Earned Value Management (EVM), and cost/schedule integration.
  • Familiarity with hyperscale owner standards and specifications.
  • PMP, PSP, or similar scheduling/project management certification.
  • Experience with schedule risk analysis tools and Monte Carlo simulation methods.
  • Experience supporting greenfield site…
