Job Description & How to Apply Below
$120,000 to $160,000 base salary, plus benefits
Commercial and industrial construction, ground-up and tenant improvement (TI) projects, typically $1 million to $10 million-plus.
We're representing a growing commercial and industrial general contractor that delivers ground-up builds and TI projects across that range. They're bringing on an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout.
You’ll run multiple projects at a time, from preconstruction through closeout, keeping each one on schedule, on budget, and to a high safety and quality bar. You’ll have real say in how problems get solved day to day, across both ground-up and TI work.
- Manage all phases of commercial and industrial construction projects, from preconstruction through final completion
- Own project budgets, forecasting, cost control, and financial performance
- Build and maintain schedules to keep delivery on track
- Lead project buyout, subcontractor management, procurement, and contract administration
- Build relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and trade partners
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, documentation, and closeout
- Spot project risks early and put fixes in place before they become problems
- Run project meetings and keep communication clear across every stakeholder
- Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Coordinators
- 5+ years as a Project Manager in commercial or industrial construction
- Experience managing projects in the $1 million to $10 million-plus range
- Hands‑on experience with ground‑up and/or tenant improvement projects
- Strong grasp of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Comfortable managing subcontractors, contracts, procurement, and schedules
- Strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to run more than one project at once
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or Bluebeam
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Design-build experience
- A track record of mentoring junior team members
- $120,000 to $160,000 base salary
- Performance-based bonus opportunities
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- 401(k) with company match
- Vehicle allowance
- Professional development and leadership training
- Real career growth with a respected, growing firm
