A well-established General Contractor in the Dallas-Fort Worth market is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in sustainability, LEED-certified construction, and green building practices.
This individual will support the planning and execution of complex commercial construction projects throughout DFW. Candidates with strong sustainability and LEED experience will also be considered for involvement on a major convention center project.
Responsibilities- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Coordinate closely with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and field teams
- Support and manage project-specific sustainability and LEED requirements
- Coordinate LEED documentation, material tracking, reporting, and compliance throughout construction
- Ensure sustainable construction requirements are properly communicated to subcontractors and project stakeholders
- Monitor project performance, identify potential risks, and develop solutions to maintain schedule and budget
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication between all project stakeholders
- Ensure projects meet company standards for quality, safety, sustainability, and client satisfaction
- 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial General Contractor preferred
- Experience delivering LEED-certified, sustainable, or green building projects
- Working knowledge of LEED requirements, sustainable construction practices, and associated documentation
- Experience with large-scale commercial, municipal/public, convention center, hospitality, or other complex projects is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes from preconstruction through closeout
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field strongly preferred
- LEED accreditation (LEED Green Associate or LEED AP) is a plus
