Full-Time W2 | Client-Site Safety Leadership | Construction Safety

Position Overview

Boots to Boardroom Recruiting, LLC (B2 ) is seeking experienced Project Safety Managers for full-time client-site construction assignments. This is a senior, on-site safety leadership role. The Project Safety Manager is placed with the client to help lead the project’ssafety program, support field execution, and keep the job aligned with OSHA requirements, owner expectations, and theclient’s standards.

The client maintains supervision, direction, and control over day-to-day work, schedule, performance, and the means and methods of the project. The official on-site title is assigned by the client, but the function of the role is Project Safety Manager: visible in the field, trusted by project leadership, and accountable for helping the project run safely.

B2  works directly with Track B employees to provide guidance and help ensure expectations are being met.

Location & Schedule

Track B Project Safety Manager roles are client-site assignments and may be located anywhere in the United States based onclient need. The specific project location, schedule, shift, assignment duration, overtime expectations, and any travel or

relocation requirements are discussed during the hiring and onboarding process and documented in the applicable Work

Order, offer letter, or employment agreement.

Compensation & Benefits
  • When on assignment: guaranteed sixty (60) hour work week
  • When between assignments: paid hourly at $35–$65, based on qualifications, certifications, and relevant field

experience

  • Full-time W2 employment
  • Four weeks of PTO
  • One week of sick leave annually
  • Medical, dental, and vision: B2  pays 100% of the employee premium and 50% of dependent premiums
  • Company-paid required PPE and safety equipment
  • Company-paid approved BCSP, OSHA, and other applicable safety certifications
  • Approved business travel and project expenses handled in accordance with company policy
  • Project-based overtime opportunities depending on assignment

Additional assignment-specific support, such as travel home, housing, or meals, is discussed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Project Safety Manager for the assigned jobsite, using the title designated by the client
  • Lead and support the project’s overall safety program and field safety efforts as directed by the client
  • Maintain a strong, consistent presence in the field
  • Identify unsafe conditions, unsafe behaviors, emerging hazards, and project risks
  • Conduct jobsite safety audits, inspections, and observations
  • Lead or support toolbox talks, safety meetings, orientations, and project safety communications
  • Lead or coordinate incident, injury, near-miss, and safety investigations when required or authorized by the client
  • Identify root causes and help drive corrective and preventive actions to completion
  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with project safety requirements
  • Partner with project management, superintendents, contractors, and leadership to resolve safety concerns
  • Support required safety training and workforce education
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation, records, reports, and investigation files
  • Prepare and communicate project safety reports, trends, findings, and recommendations
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations, client standards, owner requirements, and applicable federal, state, and

local safety regulations

  • Provide practical guidance on hazard recognition, risk mitigation, and incident prevention
  • Promote accountability and a proactive safety culture throughout the project
  • Perform additional safety responsibilities established by the client for the specific assignment
