Regional Safety Manager

SICE is seeking an experienced Regional
Safety Manager - Texas to lead and support Environmental, Health & Safety activities across our Texas operations.

This is a full-time, field-focused leadership position requiring regular travel between active projects and offices throughout Texas, including Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, and other project locations as needed.

will work closely with Operations Managers, Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, field employees, and Corporate EHSS leadership to ensure that safety expectations are consistently implemented across all projects.

This position requires a leader who is visible in the field, proactive, practical, and comfortable working directly with construction teams.

• Lead and support Safety professionals assigned to Texas projects and operations.
• Maintain a strong and consistent field presence across active projects.
• Partner with Operations and Project Management during project planning, mobilization, and execution.
• Conduct jobsite safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Review and reinforce Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Daily Risk Assessments (DRAs), toolbox talks, permits, and required safety documentation.
• Identify and address hazards associated with excavation, underground utilities, electrical work, heavy equipment, traffic control, lifting operations, fall protection, and other high-risk construction activities.
• Lead and support incident and near-miss investigations, including root-cause analysis and corrective action development.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, client requirements, and project-specific safety programs.
• Coach Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, supervisors, and field employees on hazard recognition and safe work practices.
• Coordinate and support employee and subcontractor safety training.
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance and compliance.
• Support project safety pre-planning, kickoff meetings, and mobilization activities.
• Track and communicate open safety items, corrective actions, training requirements, and emerging risks.
• Promote Stop Work Authority, employee engagement, hazard reporting, and near-miss reporting.
• Provide timely communication to Corporate EHSS and Operations leadership regarding significant risks, trends, and corrective actions.

• Demonstrated experience in construction safety, occupational safety, or EHS leadership.
• Experience supporting multiple projects, locations, or field teams.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards and applicable federal and Texas safety requirements.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
• Strong understanding of construction field operations and high-risk activities.
• Ability to effectively lead, coach, and influence employees at all levels of the organization.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout Texas.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining close coordination with Operations and Corporate EHSS leadership.

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• CSP, ASP, CHST, or equivalent professional safety certification preferred.
• OSHA 500 / Authorized Construction Outreach Trainer is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable.
