- Work with the project team to sequence work with associated subcontractors and vendors
- Help ensure successful and safe project execution
- Directly supervise laborers and craft workers or direct an assigned project segment with one or more crafts
- Interpret construction documents, plans and specifications
- Manage and motivate the workforce
- Interact with Project Engineers on assembly, organization, workflow, and review of RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and record drawings
- Assess work quality
- Monitor and enforce OSHA and Beck safety policies and procedures
- Assist with schedule development and adherence for assigned scopes of work
- Participate in project layout and field engineering
- Develop and maintain daily reports
- Identify and learn Lean Construction Practices and Principles
- Follow direction, collaborate with team members, and complete assigned tasks
- 0-3 years of relevant construction experience
- College graduate with relevant degree, or relevant experience as a Field Foreman or Field Engineer
- Basic safety awareness
- Supervisory experience
- Ability to keep daily reports
- Internship with a commercial construction company preferred but not required
- Fundamental understanding of project documents
- Experience with Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, and Revit or comparable construction technologies is a plus
- Ability to interpret construction documents, plans and specifications
- Understanding of OSHA and Beck safety policies and procedures
- Understanding and use of Bluebeam basics
- Ability to adhere to consistent and timely attendance
- Ability to frequently move equipment up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and move around job sites on uneven surfaces
Demonstrates strong capabilities in project execution, safety compliance, and workforce management within the construction industry. Proficient in interpreting construction documents and utilizing construction technologies to enhance project workflow and quality.
