Bridge Tower Homes is a Texas-based residential home builder with operations throughout the Sunbelt. BT Homes builds single-family detached homes, townhomes, and duplexes in urban core infill and suburban locations. BT Home's expertise includes acquisition, entitlement, development, construction, and new home sales for Build-For-Sale and Build-For-Rent clients. Bridge Tower constructs and delivers 400-500 new homes a year

Overview:

The Purchasing Coordinator supports the Construction Services (Purchasing, Estimating, Permitting), and Construction team by coordinating administrative processes, maintaining documentation, and assisting with vendor onboarding, permit preparation, and purchase order management.

The Purchasing Coordinator works closely with Purchasing, Construction, Accounting, Development, and other internal teams to support the timely execution of purchasing and home start activities throughout the homebuilding process.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain purchasing records and perform accurate data entry to support departmental operations.
  • Research and communicate with prospective vendors to support vendor qualification and onboarding.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain documentation required for new vendor setup.
  • Gather documentation necessary for building permit submittals and process permit applications.
  • Prepare, coordinate and track community Architectural Review submittals.
  • Upload and maintain documents for the Construction team.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and extra purchase orders with oversight to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate and organize required documentation needed to start and close homes according to established construction schedules.
  • Maintain files and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist with special projects and provide administrative support to the Purchasing team as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements

Necessary Skills & Knowledge:

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and understands basic residential construction and purchasing processes. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy. Success in this position depends on effective communication, collaboration, and a commitment to supporting cross-functional teams.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of residential homebuilding or construction experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Power Point, SharePoint and Docu Sign.
  • Experience with BRIX/Hyphen Solutions or similar construction management software is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
