Job Description

We are currently hiring General Laborers to assist with fire damage demolition, debris removal, and cleanup at a job site in Dallas, TX.

This is a physically demanding role that involves working in areas affected by fire damage. Workers will be required to wear protective suits, masks/respiratory protection, and other required PPE while performing demolition and cleanup work. The work environment can become hot and uncomfortable while wearing protective equipment
, so candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions.

• Assist with fire-damaged property demolition and cleanup

• Remove damaged materials, debris, and waste from work areas

• Perform general labour and material handling

• Assist with tear-out and removal of damaged drywall, flooring, insulation, and other materials as directed

• Load and move debris and materials

• Keep work areas clean and organized

• Follow instructions from the site supervisor

• Wear all required PPE, including protective suits and masks

• Follow site safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment

• Perform other general labour duties as required

• Previous construction, demolition, restoration, or general labour experience is an asset

• Must be physically fit and able to perform heavy and repetitive work

• Comfortable working in hot conditions while wearing protective suits and masks

• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and debris

• Comfortable working around fire-damaged areas

• Reliable and punctual

• Ability to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions

• Must have reliable transportation to the job site

• $19.00/hour (paid out bi-weekly via direct deposit)

• Monday to Friday

• 8:00 AM start

• Full-time hours based on project requirements
