Production Artist

Bring creative concepts to life through precision, quality, and flawless execution

Based in Irving, Texas or Las Vegas, Nevada, this role supports the successful delivery of high-quality print and graphics for trade shows and live events. The Expo Group is seeking a Production Artist to prepare, proof, and finalize artwork for print, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and on-time delivery while meeting client specifications and quality standards.

• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to ensure design specifications, quality standards, and deadlines are met.
• Input client copy into established templates and style guides provided by graphic designers.
• Modify templates to accommodate special requests, sizing changes, and custom needs.
• Determine the placement, size, and visual hierarchy of design elements.
• Select fonts, text sizes, and styles in alignment with client preferences and brand standards.
• Review and proof artwork for accuracy, consistency, and quality at full scale, making corrections as needed.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure proofs are reviewed, edited, and finalized on schedule.
• Partner with team members to efficiently handle proofing tasks across shared projects.
• Track timelines and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
• Assist with graphic design support and special projects as needed.

• Associate’s degree in Graphic Arts or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of production art experience without a degree, or 1+ year of internship or professional experience with a degree.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Strong proofreading, typesetting, and attention to detail with solid spelling and grammar skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Clear communication skills for working with clients and cross‑functional teams.
• Basic knowledge of print production processes.
• Experience in the tradeshow or experiential industry preferred, but not required.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
