Video Editor – Self-Development Storytelling

Join a dynamic project focused on elevating personal brand content in the self-development and healing space. This role centers on transforming standard talking-head footage into emotionally engaging, story-driven short-form videos for platforms like Instagram, Tik Tok, and Facebook. The ideal candidate will bring cinematic editing techniques, creative narrative structure, and a passion for personal growth content. You will collaborate closely to craft visually compelling videos that resonate with audiences seeking transformation and inspiration.

This is an opportunity to contribute creative ideas, leverage AI-enhanced visuals, and help shape the voice of an emerging personal brand. The initial engagement will be a short trial (3–5 videos or 1 week), with the potential for ongoing monthly collaboration.

• Edit 3–5 short-form videos (or 1 week’s worth of content) for social media platforms, focusing on reels and shorts.
• Apply cinematic techniques, dynamic pacing, and strong storytelling to elevate talking-head footage.
• Incorporate narrative hooks, subtitles, and creative visual elements to enhance viewer engagement.
• Utilize AI tools and platforms (such as Runway, Higgsfield, or Artlist) to add innovative effects and polish.
• Collaborate on creative direction and contribute ideas for content structure and visual storytelling.
• Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s voice and self-development themes.

• Proven experience editing short-form social media content, especially reels or shorts for Instagram, Tik Tok, or Facebook.
• Strong storytelling skills and ability to craft emotionally engaging narratives from raw footage.
• Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced editing tools and willingness to experiment with new technologies.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for pacing, transitions, and visual detail.
• Experience with self-development, healing, or mindset content is a plus.
• Ability to work remotely and deliver high-quality edits within tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
