POSITION OVERVIEW

MCI is a tech‑enabled business services company delivering Customer Experience (CX), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and Anything‑as‑a‑Service (XaaS) solutions across multiple industries. We are seeking experienced Account Receivable Specialists to recover past‑due consumer accounts while maintaining respectful and trust‑based customer relationships.

As a Recovery Specialist, you will start with a paid, two‑week professional training program to learn advanced recovery strategies and negotiation techniques. After training you will work directly with customers to resolve outstanding balances and support their journey toward financial stability.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Use a variety of contact technologies and recovery strategies to locate the correct parties.
  • Understand each customer’s financial situation and recommend appropriate payment solutions.
  • Negotiate payment terms with empathy, tact, and professionalism.
  • Handle both outbound and inbound calls effectively.
  • Follow all required scripts, policies, and procedures with precision.
  • Respond confidently to common objections and guide customers toward resolution.
  • Meet monthly performance goals and complete other assigned duties.
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions; stay current with updates to systems, processes, and program knowledge.
  • Adhere to all attendance and scheduling requirements.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating system
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow‑up on customer issues
  • An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving and negotiation
  • Must be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
  • Ability to multi‑task, stay focused and self‑manage
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus
  • The ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment where change and ambiguity are prevalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with your team and customers
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Salary
    : $13.10 - $17.25 / hour
