Client Service Representative
$19 - $22/hr dallas Veterinary Surgical Center (DVSC) – North Dallas, TX
The purpose of this position is to provide outstanding client service. Client Service Representatives (CSR) are responsible for answering the phone, differentiating between routine and emergency cases, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, admitting and checking out patients, processing payments, managing financial information, and communicating information between clients and staff.
CSRs must enjoy working with people and diverse clients, be caring, friendly, efficient, and professional. They should remain calm in emergencies, empathize with clients, and reliably handle multiple tasks.

- Full Time – 4x10 hour shifts per week (1 weekday off)
- Monday – Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm

- Communicates assurance about the quality of care provided.
- Understands our services and recommendations and clearly communicates them to clients.
- Empathizes with clients and remains compassionate and well‑mannered if a client becomes emotional or discourteous.
- Stays calm and collected in emergency situations.
- At least two years of recent experience in a veterinary or medical environment, with increasing responsibilities.
- Ability to submit to drug screening; we are a drug‑free workplace.
- Knowledge of general office practices, telephone techniques, and client service responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to perform clerical work with speed and accuracy, use a multiple‑line telephone system, and handle cash and other payments.
- Experience maintaining patient records and accurately entering a variety of information.
- Can complete assigned tasks in the time allotted without direct supervision.
- Shows empathy toward clients and treats animals with respect and compassion.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- A commitment to outstanding client service.
- Fluent English (speaking & reading) required; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
- Preferred:
Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures and general computer skills.
