The RoleCustomer Service Representative – primary responsibility is to assist travelers in getting to and from their event destination according to their budget and itinerary. This position handles incoming calls in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Answer 25+ daily phone calls from clients.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of events and partnerships to recognize industry product, market, and service trends.
- Work with clients to identify specific needs and expectations, including special/custom product fulfillments.
- Investigate and resolve client issues, escalating priority matters and routing calls or issues to appropriate resources.
- Communicate questions and issues with internal teams to provide the best customer service experience.
- Collect and enter reservations for new or additional products and services.
- Manage the company’s proprietary reservation system, including hotel inventory, rooming lists, and additional tour items.
- Support event teams with their needs and responsibilities as necessary.
- Arrange data in a useful manner and streamline existing processes to increase workflow efficiency.
- Prioritize tasks, handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and maintain a productive workflow.
- Drive results and exhibit good follow‑through on information and project status.
- Adapt to travel schedules and be available for work during nights, weekends, and holidays; may require up to 10% travel.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a customer service position using telephone etiquette techniques.
- Strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to multi‑task and consistently produce accurate work under pressure.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with vendors, guests, partners, clients, and peers.
- Bilingual; ability to read, write, and speak Spanish proficiently.
- Experience in the travel or sports industry.
