Account Manager

Description We are looking for a customer-focused Account Manager to support client relationships and day-to-day service operations. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who can balance account coordination, cross-functional communication, and responsive problem-solving in a fast-paced B2B environment. The person in this role will partner closely with sales, supply chain, and finance teams to deliver a high standard of service and help strengthen long-term customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee assigned customer accounts to maintain strong service levels, consistent follow-through, and efficient account performance.

- Respond to client questions and requests with professionalism, urgency, and clear communication.

- Coordinate customer specifications and order-related details in alignment with established sales and operations procedures.

- Partner with supply chain teams to help ensure products are delivered on schedule and customer expectations are met.

- Support the sales process by assisting with account onboarding, retention efforts, customer reviews, and reporting needs.

- Work with accounting and finance teams to help resolve claims and support credit setup for new and existing customers.

- Investigate customer concerns and sales-related issues, then drive practical solutions that address root causes and improve outcomes.

- Contribute to a collaborative team environment while reinforcing a strong service mindset and attention to deadlines.

- Help document client service best practices as well as issues related to product safety or quality, and provide cross-departmental support to keep service workflows moving effectively. Requirements - Experience in account management, customer service, or a similar client-facing business role.

- Background supporting B2B customers with a strong emphasis on relationship management and service quality.

- Ability to work effectively with internal teams such as sales, supply chain, accounting, and finance.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage inbound inquiries professionally.

- Comfortable preparing reports, spreadsheets, and basic account analysis to support business decisions.

- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complaints and resolve account issues proactively.

- Experience building and maintaining strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment. Talent Match®
