EI - Customer Service Associate

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Associate. You may either be located in Dallas, TX or Morganton, NC. This position will support the West region.

The Customer Service Associate receives and processes customer orders; follows up and ensures shipment date is communicated and met. Works with the Supply Chain group on shortages/outages and communicates to the customer accordingly; responds to customers on pricing, formula codes and other customer requests; maintains and/or balances inventory-related accounts; manages and maintains on hand inventory at 3rd party Warehouses. Runs customer and sales reports;

invoices month end consumption and maintains accurate on hand inventories. Assists in training new customer service associates and other support employees; acts as an internal/external resource for questions, research, etc.

• Performs all Customer Service Associate job responsibilities in an independent manner.
• Responsible for domestic and International accounts.
• Performs month-end closures.
• Responsible for issuing credits and invoices to customers.
• Takes ownership of problems and customers issues. Works independently to resolve issues until resolved. Works with other Siegwerk employees in other departments as needed to resolve issues.
• Maintains a positive and professional attitude at all times when working with internal and external customers.
• Promptly reports safety, environmental, and compliance concerns, including incidents, near misses, and spills.
• Actively participates in training, inspections, audits, emergency response, and continuous improvement efforts to help protect employees, contractors, property, the community, and the environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• SAP knowledge a plus.
• Expertise in management of consignment inventories, strongly preferred, accounting fundamentals.
• Previous manufacturing and knowledge/experience with logistics.
• Knowledge of ink systems a plus.
• Self-starter with the ability to multitask in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork ability required.
• Must be able to work both independently with little supervision as well as be an excellent team player.

One year certificate from college or technical school with some related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous work experience in a service capacity is required. 3-5 years of related experience required.
